Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification or higher to lead with confidence
- Experience managing and mentoring teams in early years settings
- Clear understanding of EYFS and child development milestones
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset
- Genuine passion for child-led learning and team collaboration
- Right to work in the UK or eligibility for UK visa sponsorship
Salary Details
Starting at £31,000 per year, with additional bonuses based on both team and individual performance
About the Role
This role suits someone who’s hands-on, loves being at the heart of the action, and leads by example. As Room Manager, you’ll guide a small team of practitioners on the floor every day. Think of yourself as the calm centre that keeps the room thriving. Whether it’s shaping enriching activities or helping staff grow in confidence, your presence will help children and carers feel supported.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example to set high standards of care and learning
- Support, coach and inspire your room staff day-to-day
- Plan and guide age-appropriate, engaging activities
- Build warm, professional relationships with families
- Keep daily routines smooth and responsive to children’s needs
- Monitor and maintain staff ratios and room quality
- Ensure alignment with Development Matters and EYFS requirements
