About the Role
This isn’t a desk job—it’s hands-on, meaningful work. As an Advanced Therapy Technician, you’ll play a key role in getting patients back on their feet. You’ll support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in preparing patients for safe discharge, delivering treatment plans, and carrying out mobility, manual handling, and equipment fitting.
Whether you’re helping someone move independently after surgery or supporting a frail patient’s transition back home, your care makes recovery possible. And you won’t be alone—you’ll be part of a committed Therapy team that’s got your back every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients in line with therapy plans
- Support discharge processes with timely and efficient care delivery
- Fit medical equipment for patient safety and mobility
- Provide personal care when needed, upholding dignity at all times
- Work across a 7-day service, contributing to flexible team coverage
- Collaborate with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver consistent care
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check, as it involves direct patient care within a hospital setting.
