This full-time contract role offers a yearly salary ranging from 24,625 to 25,674, depending on experience and suitability.
About the Role
This is more than data input—it’s about keeping a vital rheumatology system working smoothly so patients get the care they need, on time. The Rheumatology Database Administrator will handle the daily management of the DAWN system, ensuring it stays accurate and responsive to real-time clinical needs. You’ll work closely with the performance manager and lead consultant, supporting the team with up-to-date, accurate reports that shape better care decisions.
It’s a detail-oriented role, but it’s also one where your human touch counts. You’ll be answering questions, meeting with staff, and making sure their data challenges are resolved quickly and with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the DAWN database daily to support safe patient care
- Collect and input clinical data using various NHS systems
- Liaise with clinical staff to gather relevant data and clarify issues
- Generate and present monthly reports at the Rheumatology MDT meeting
- Use insights from data to help the team respond to trends and improve workflows
- Handle sensitive patient information with the highest level of confidentiality
