Requirements

  • A first degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the role
  • Solid experience in either an education or health setting
  • Familiarity with school systems and how they work day to day
  • A strong understanding of the NHS and social care landscape
  • Able to engage with people from different backgrounds
  • Confident working with students, parents, teachers, and public stakeholders
  • Skilled in auditing and developing action plans based on real-world data
  • Comfortable driving positive culture change in schools

Salary Details

You’ll be joining at Agenda for Change Band 6, earning £38,682 to £46,580 a year, depending on experience

About the Role

They’re looking for someone who’s not just organised, but genuinely passionate about early intervention and building mentally healthy schools. This isn’t a clinical post—it’s a strategic lead role where you’ll partner directly with schools, driving their whole school approach to mental health.

Based in Rotherham, you’ll work within the With Me in Mind Mental Health Support Team to co-create and embed a positive mental health culture in every school. That means leading audits, evaluating real needs, crafting action plans, and helping schools turn vision into reality. If you’re energised by prevention, coordination, and long-term impact, this could be your next meaningful step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead school partnerships and shape mental health action plans
  • Carry out audits and help schools understand where support is needed
  • Champion early mental health support at school-wide level
  • Coordinate service delivery with schools and NHS colleagues
  • Monitor impact and adjust plans to ensure lasting change
  • Represent the programme within the education and health community
