A Day in The Life:

BeMo has an immediate need for a top-caliber PhD (preferably in Life Sciences) to join their team as a part-time Academic Consultant. The role involves helping students with the review and critique of their applications (Note: BeMo do NOT write any application documents for students; they teach them how to make their applications stand out) and admissions interview preparation.

What You Will Do:

  • Review and critique application documents, providing feedback to help students improve.
  • Conduct mock interviews and offer feedback to enhance students’ interview performance.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for mentoring students and improving overall company operations.

BeMo will Love to Hear From You if You:

  • Hold a PhD Degree or are in the process of completing your PhD (preferably in Chemistry and/or Physics).
  • Reside in the United States or Canada.
  • Can commit to working a minimum of 20 hours a week.
  • Bonus if you are fluent in French in addition to English.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, participate in self-directed learning, and possess tech-savviness.
  • Do not work for other test prep companies.
  • Seek a long-term role, not a short-term gig.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, verbal & communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, showing a strong work ethic and managerial attitude.
  • Handle sensitive information with utmost integrity and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a quiet, distraction-free private room with a door and access to an ergonomic setup and high-speed internet (minimum download speed of 10 Mbps).
