Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with proven experience in information or software development
  • Strong background in SQL stack (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
  • Knowledge of ETL and BI development
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
  • Experience of working in NHS or similar environment
  • Skills in PowerBI and Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
  • Strong analytical mindset and keen eye for detail

About the Role

The Information Developer role sits at the heart of the Trust’s mission to deliver safe, effective, and responsive healthcare. This is more than writing code or designing reports. Every dataset you refine helps clinicians make faster, smarter decisions that impact real patient outcomes. You’ll work with fellow developers, analysts, and stakeholders to design and implement data solutions that cut through complexity and provide clarity. Expect to be hands-on with SQL stack technologies, create and maintain reporting cubes, and turn abstract user needs into practical, reliable tools that drive performance across the Trust. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data warehouse and reporting cubes that support patient care and Trust operations
  • Interpret complex requests and transform them into robust technical solutions
