Requirements

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in systems integration, applications development, and database design
  • Hands-on experience with HL7 messaging in hospital or health system environments
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, BizTalk, Visual Basic, C#, XML, and related integration tools
  • Understanding of communication protocols including TCP/IP, MLLP, HTTPS, and FTP
  • Ability to manage customer and supplier contact with clear communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing project demands

About the Role

The Software Integration Specialist will play a hands-on part in developing, testing, and maintaining system interfaces that connect the Patient Administration System with hospital and community health systems. They’ll ensure seamless data flow across platforms that directly impacts patient care. Working alongside IT, clinical staff, and external suppliers, they’ll take ownership of integration projects, problem solving, and 3rd line support to guarantee near-100% system availability.
