Requirements
- Commitment to completing the Trust Care Certificate within 4 months of appointment
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Knowledge of personal care procedures

Salary Details
The post is NHS AfC Band 2: £22,383 to £22,816 a year, pro rata for part-time staff, with enhancements for unsocial hours where applicable.
About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant in Theatres, you’ll be at the heart of patient care. You’ll work alongside clinical staff to ensure operations run smoothly, supporting patients before, during and after procedures. Your role isn’t just about tasks, it’s about reassurance, dignity and being that steady presence in moments of vulnerability. You’ll help maintain safety, support colleagues, and contribute to the quality of care that patients and families remember.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues so everyone feels informed and supported

- Help maintain theatre equipment and environments so they’re safe and fit for use
- Develop your own skills and share knowledge to support others’ growth
