Requirements

Salary Details

Band 2 starting at £24,465 a year, rising to Band 3 after completion of the Care Certificate and required competencies.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Support Worker you will support Registered Nurses in delivering safe and compassionate care. From helping patients with meals to recording vital signs, you will play a vital role in their recovery journey. The role is hands-on and varied, giving you the chance to grow while making a real difference every day. Whether you are experienced or new to healthcare, CUH offers the right training and mentoring to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care to maintain dignity and comfort
  • Record observations such as blood pressure, pulse and temperature to support treatment decisions
  • Help patients move safely within clinical areas to aid recovery and independence
  • Support meal service so patients receive the right nutrition and hydration
  • Work closely with the team to deliver excellent standards of care for every patient
