Requirements
- At least 1 year of home care experience
- GCSEs or equivalent education preferred
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and families
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide safe, effective care
- Basic IT skills for recording and communication
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Salary Details
Salary will be competitive and reflect experience. Contracted hours with opportunities for overtime will be available.
About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you’ll be part of a close-knit team delivering care directly in clients’ homes. Your day may include helping with personal care, preparing meals, assisting with medication, or simply offering companionship that lifts someone’s spirits.
This role is about more than tasks, it’s about presence. You’ll bring reassurance, consistency, and empathy to clients and their families. By supporting daily living while encouraging independence, you’ll help people feel safe, respected, and valued in their own space.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and grooming to maintain dignity
- Support daily living activities like meal preparation and medication management
- Follow care plans carefully, monitoring progress and adapting as needed
