Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience in project management for change or digital transformation
- Strong background with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Confidence in writing reports, business cases, and project documentation
- Desirable but not essential: PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP or health tech experience

This post is offered at Band 7 with a salary between £38,682 and £46,580 per year under the NHS Agenda for Change.
About the Role
The Technical Project Manager will be at the centre of the Clinical Data Science and Engineering Unit, working across healthcare, academia, and industry partners. They will plan, execute, and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with the Trust’s digital transformation goals. From predictive analytics to device grade decision support tools, this role will shape how data is used to support patients and clinicians. By balancing risk, budgets, and stakeholder engagement, the manager ensures that data driven projects deliver real world improvements. Every project taken forward in this role plays a part in redefining healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects that turn healthcare data into actionable insights
- Coordinate resources and stakeholders so projects meet transformation goals
- Monitor risks, budgets, and timelines to ensure smooth delivery
- Embed best practice in project management and data governance
