Requirements

  • GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English, or equivalent key skills level 2
  • Qualified Nursing Associate with NMC registration
  • Ability to study at diploma level and complete the Foundation Degree programme
  • Experience in a health or care setting with willingness to develop further

About the Role

As a Mental Health Nursing Associate, you’ll be part of a team that delivers healthcare in secure environments. The role combines direct patient care with promoting health and well-being every day. You’ll be supervised by registered nurses, but you’ll also take responsibility for providing and monitoring care, helping to prevent ill health, and improving safety standards.

It’s a varied role where you’ll be expected to use your clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills to make patients feel supported and understood.
