Requirements

- Professional certifications such as MCP or MCSE
- ITIL Foundation and PRINCE2 Foundation qualifications
- Strong background in LAN, WAN, and networking protocols like TCP/IP

About the Role
As a Senior Network Analyst, you’ll keep the backbone of the Trust’s IT services strong and secure. Your day-to-day will involve maintaining and improving network infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring critical systems are reliable for staff and patients alike. This isn’t just about fixing problems – it’s about leading projects, implementing new technologies, and proactively spotting opportunities for improvement.
From supporting LAN and WAN design to developing long-term network strategies, your input will directly impact how smoothly services run across hospitals and clinics. It’s a role where every decision you make has a ripple effect on patient care and staff efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead network planning and design to ensure stable and scalable services that support clinical operations
- Analyse and review system performance so issues are resolved before they affect patient care
- Manage upgrades and installations to keep systems current and secure
- Support and mentor colleagues in technical areas, building team capability and confidence
- Take ownership of projects that shape future infrastructure, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to standard
- Play a key role in maintaining business continuity by supporting risk management and contingency planning
