Requirements

  • GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a related subject
  • Keen eye for detail to maintain high cleanliness standards in clinical spaces

  • Passion for infection control and patient safety
  • Flexibility to adapt to service needs and working hours

Salary Details

This role is paid at NHS Agenda for Change Band 2 with a pro rata annual salary of £24,465.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Cleaning Professional, you’ll be at the heart of infection control. Every surface you clean, every room you prepare, directly contributes to safer care for patients, staff and visitors. You’ll work mornings from 6am to 11am, Tuesday to Saturday, keeping the hospital environment spotless and welcoming.

This role isn’t just about cleaning, it’s about protecting patients and supporting clinical teams in their daily work.
