About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Dojo, you’ll help build the powerful backend systems that manage over 150,000 devices across the UK and beyond. You’ll write clean, efficient code in Go, design high-traffic APIs, and create automation that keeps every payment device online and secure.

This role is for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and sees beauty in simplicity. You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to enhance operations, improve performance, and enable new capabilities for customers and partners. Every line of code you write will contribute to keeping UK businesses moving smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems that support Dojo’s expanding device fleet
• Write and maintain Go-based services to ensure reliability and scalability
• Collaborate across teams to deliver new tools and features that drive customer impact
• Own the full lifecycle of your work from development through production monitoring
• Improve system performance through automation and continuous optimization
• Support operational efficiency by ensuring devices are provisioned and managed at scale
