Requirements

This is a Band 3 NHS role paying £25,313 to £26,999 per annum, based on experience and working hours.
About the Role
This role is based at Tŷ Llywelyn Medium Secure Unit within Bryn y Neuadd Hospital, providing care for male patients in a secure mental health setting. You’ll work alongside nurses to deliver daily support, promote recovery, and help individuals regain independence. Every action you take — from assisting with daily routines to observing behaviour changes — contributes to safer, more effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist registered nurses in providing holistic, person-centred care
- Support patients with daily living, ensuring dignity and respect
- Observe and report changes in behaviour or wellbeing
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to promote recovery goals
- Uphold safety standards and contribute to a positive ward environment
