This Band 3 salary sits between £24,937 and £26,598 yearly based on experience.
About the Role
This role sits at the heart of outpatient care across Arrowe Park, Clatterbridge and Victoria Central sites. You’ll spend time with patients during moments that matter, helping them feel comfortable, listened to and supported. Some days involve personal care and simple clinical tasks while others focus on observation and assisting nurses or doctors with procedures. These small actions make a big difference and help the team deliver smooth and dignified care.
You’ll document patient information, keep areas clean and safe and step in with reassurance when someone needs it. If you’re the type who finds meaning in helping others feel steady during uncertain moments, this role can be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support patients with personal and clinical care so they feel safe and looked after
- Carry out observations to help the team make timely decisions
- Report changes in a patient’s condition to keep care safe and proactive
- Assist with tasks like ECGs or venepuncture once trained so clinics run smoothly
- Help maintain clean and welcoming areas that offer comfort to patients and visitors
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
A DBS check is required for this role and the cost will be recovered through salary deductions over the first few months in post.
