Job Description

Lidl US is seeking an entry-level Data Projects Analyst to join their Purchasing Data Projects team. This team plays a crucial role in finding the best solutions for the purchasing department to collect, process, and store data related to pricing, competitors, items, and suppliers. The Analyst will be responsible for presenting ideas and reports to upper management, reviewing and building processes, and suggesting optimization opportunities. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in programming, Power BI, and SQL, including recent college graduates.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Prior experience working with Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft Projects, or other project management tools
  • Prior programming experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to evaluate processes for optimization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Gather project requirements, build solutions based on requirements, test, document, train internal customers, roll out, and support ongoing optimization
  • Lead project meetings in collaboration with other teams such as IT, Purchasing, Supply, Logistics, and more
  • Develop handbooks, reports, presentations, and project plans
  • Lead, track, and report on projects and tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Serve as a peer leader, supporting the training and guidance of team members
  • Maintain existing data processes and work on support cases via team inbox
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Location

This position is fully remote. Employees classified as fully remote must live and work within the states of VA, MD, D.C., NC, SC, GA, FL, DE, PA, NJ, NY, WV, ID, IL, TX, OH.
