Job Description
Ottimmo is seeking an experienced Physics Tutor to provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to high school students. The role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and developing individualized plans to meet each student’s unique needs. The tutor will communicate with parents, observe students’ behavior, and provide feedback to improve performance. Additional responsibilities include helping students develop study skills, providing supplemental instruction in math subjects, and addressing any academic concerns.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or tutoring Physics
- Ability to prepare engaging and effective lesson plans
- Strong communication skills to interact with parents and provide feedback
- Proficiency in developing individualized learning plans
- Experience in helping students develop study skills such as time management and note-taking
- Ability to evaluate students’ strengths and weaknesses
- Comfortable working remotely
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation
- Salary: $16.25 – $35.42 per hour
