We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Driver to join our dedicated team. In this crucial role, you will support individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life through safe and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport clients to and from appointments, activities, and errands.
  • Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety during the journey.
  • Provide friendly and supportive companionship during trips, engaging in conversation and offering help as needed.
  • Work closely with our care team to coordinate schedules and services seamlessly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and safe, conduct regular inspections, and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage and expenses for reimbursement.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate varying schedules and client needs.

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected Hours: 10 – 38.5 per week
