Job Overview

Dove House Hospice is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £29,282 to £31,064 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support professional growth and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Solutions Development: Create and implement data solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with various teams to identify information needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Data Management: Lead efforts in data acquisition, transformation, analysis, and presentation.
  • Reporting: Translate complex data sets into clear, concise reports and visualisations.
  • Optimisation: Enhance existing data collection mechanisms and seek out new solutions.
  • Advocacy: Promote the use of data to demonstrate impact and inform decision-making, thereby supporting patient care and fundraising efforts.

About You

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Experience in a data analyst role
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
  • Skills in analysing and investigating key performance information
  • Ability to develop interactive dashboards and detailed reports using business intelligence software
  • An understanding of statutory obligations such as GDPR
