Job Description
KIMS Hospital in Maidstone is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join their Guest Services team on a temporary basis. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, communal areas, and offices. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellent patient service.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch housekeeping services to patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- Support the housekeeping team in delivering excellent patient service across all hospital areas.
- Adhere to infection control guidelines within clinical areas.
- Use cleaning materials in compliance with COSHH requirements.
Person Specification:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning in a similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and their application in a clinical environment.
- Flexible and responsive to departmental needs.
- Strong team player.
