Job Description
The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join the team at Sandbanks Day Centre as Care Workers. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and older people living with dementia. The position is available as a permanent role, with both full-time (36 hours per week) and part-time (minimum of 18 hours per week) options, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care to residents, supporting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and the Positive Behaviour Support Team.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on residents’ progress and needs.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
