Job Description
The UCL Faculty of Engineering is seeking a Communication and Events Manager for the ICEC-MCM project. The successful candidate will develop and execute a strategy to promote ICEC-MCM activities, support the dissemination of research outcomes, and organize various events, including monthly seminars and quarterly knowledge exchange events. This role requires collaboration with UCL Communications staff, managing press and media inquiries, and assessing the impact of communication activities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and event planning.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics, proofreading, and press release drafting.
  • Familiarity with website publishing applications like WordPress.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience in managing live events.

Compensation

  • Salary: £33,679.20 per year (0.8 FTE)
  • Benefits include 41 days of holiday, a defined benefit pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, on-site gym, and visa sponsorship eligibility.
