The Opportunity
The Adult Critical Care Unit at King’s Mill Hospital is on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Workers to join their dedicated team. This 15-bedded unit plays a crucial role within both the Trust and the East-Midlands Critical Care Network, offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized personal care to patients in the Adult Critical Care Unit
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Support in the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
What You’ll Need
- NVQ 2 in care or equivalent
- Good standard of general education (GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above)
- Care Certificate or commitment to achieving it within 2 weeks of starting
- Previous care work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
