Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC certification
  • Minimum of 6 months’ nursing home experience in the UK
  • Familiarity with elderly care, including Alzheimer’s and dementia

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at New Elmcroft, your key responsibilities will include providing comprehensive care to elderly residents, particularly those with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other health conditions. Working in close collaboration with care staff, you will develop care plans, administer medications, perform wound care, and offer emotional support to both residents and their families.

This role requires dedication and compassion, as it involves not only addressing physical needs but also enhancing the mental and emotional well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop personalized care plans
  • Administer medication and monitor residents’ health
  • Provide nursing care, including wound and palliative care
  • Assist residents with daily activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, and toileting)
  • Offer emotional support to residents and families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed care records
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations
