About the Role
The Mental Health & Safeguarding Adviser plays a crucial role within the Welfare & Safeguarding team of Aston University’s Student Life directorate. The post holder will support students in overcoming challenges affecting their mental health and academic performance. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of students, conducting risk assessments, and providing tailored support. The adviser will collaborate with other teams to deliver workshops and contribute to broader university initiatives. This role is essential for creating an inclusive environment that addresses diversity and equality in mental health support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage individual student cases and develop personalized support plans.
  • Assess risks related to mental health and welfare challenges.
