About the Role
The Domiciliary Care Assistant role involves providing essential care and support to clients in their own homes within the Worthing area. Applicants must have a driving licence as the role requires travelling to clients’ homes.
Candidates will assist with tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, medication management, mobility support, and light housekeeping. They will also engage in activities that promote emotional well-being and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support with toileting and continence management
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions
- Report any health changes to supervisors
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, meal prep)
- Provide companionship and alleviate loneliness
- Maintain records of care and report changes
