An exciting opportunity is available on the Trauma and Orthopaedic Ward (registered nurse jobs) at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, specializing in trauma and elective orthopaedic care, including patients from the major trauma centre. Main Duties of the Job
This position involves:

  • Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care of the highest standard.

  • Providing care for trauma and elective orthopaedic patients throughout their surgical journey.
  • Participating in professional development through internal training and partnerships with the University of Glamorgan.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria

  • Active UK NMC Registration.
  • Experience in a ward environment.
  • Knowledge of responsibilities under the NMC Code of Conduct.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in a leadership role, such as managing a ward or department.
  • Familiarity with IV devices, IV additives, and Intermediate Life Support (ILS).

Additional Information
Candidates from outside the UK/Republic of Ireland must meet visa sponsorship requirements. Eligibility for the Health and Care visa includes reduced application costs and exemption from the annual Immigration Health Surcharge.
