Templer Ward, located within Newton Abbot Community Hospital, is a 30-bed inpatient ward. Twenty beds are designated for specialist stroke and neuro-rehabilitation patients following treatment in an acute hospital setting. The remaining ten beds cater to patients requiring general medical care and rehabilitation. These senior healthcare support worker jobs offer an opportunity to work as part of a proactive multidisciplinary team, encouraging patients to achieve their maximum rehabilitation potential to enable safe discharge from the hospital. Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Desirable Criteria:
- Care certificate.
- English and Mathematics at GCSE Grade A-C (9-4) or Level 2 Functional Skills.
Knowledge and Experience

- Experience in a care environment or evidence of a caring nature/life experience.
- Understanding of the need for strict confidentiality.
