An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the growing and specialist Gynaecology nursing team.
The role entails providing competent professional nursing care tailored to the needs of the designated patient population within the service. Responsibilities include delivering care within Women’s Services, particularly in Gynaecology, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and early pregnancy outpatient activities.
The position requires taking charge of the service area as needed, providing leadership to junior staff, and offering support to senior nursing teams. Additionally, the role involves organizing personal and junior staff time, delegating responsibilities, and contributing to educational programs for staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
- Work in alignment with the Trust’s Values to consistently demonstrate the required behaviors, maintaining professionalism, compassion, respect, and safety.
- Ensure adherence to Croydon Health Services Trust’s policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others, complying with Health and Safety Regulations and Trust policies.
