Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to join the Triage Unit at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, serving as the first point of contact for women entering the unit. The role involves assessing various situations, directing women to appropriate departments, and providing advice. Ideal candidates will enjoy a varied role and be dynamic, with the ability to transfer existing skills to the triage unit. Occasionally, redeployment to the delivery suite may be required.
Main Duties of the Job
The Trust is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic midwife dedicated to delivering high-quality care. As a Trust, we manage approximately 6000 births annually, serving a highly diverse population. The role provides an exciting opportunity for midwives passionate about making a difference in maternity care. The Trust supports professional development through in-house multidisciplinary training and strong links with local universities for post-registration development.
