Requirements:

  • GCSE or equivalent (required)
  • 1-year experience in providing care (required)
  • 1-year supervisory experience (required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)

Salary Details:
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £30,000 annually, dependent on experience.

Key duties include supervising staff, maintaining a safe environment, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. The Senior Care Assistant will also help drive residents to appointments or activities, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents in maintaining their independence and encouraging daily activities.
  • Implement and monitor individual care plans, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff, providing necessary training and support.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Drive residents to appointments and outings as needed, ensuring safety.
  • Maintain a clean and safe care environment, following health and safety regulations.

Additional Details:

  • Must be able to commute reliably to Burgess Hill (RH15 9RD) or relocate before starting work.
  • The role is in-person with the expected start date of December 9, 2024.
