Job Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Application Support role within Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT). This position will support the successful implementation of strategic digital projects across all relevant Business Units/Directorates. Main Duties of the Job
- Ensure end-users are trained to effectively use applications/systems and resolve any issues during the handover phase to business as usual at project closure.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of all software supported by the team, understanding both the technical aspects and its use within the organization.
- Provide specialist training for new users to ensure operational processes run smoothly.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain and support applications, software, and other organizational systems.
- Implement departmental policies within the working area and suggest improvements based on new guidelines or legislation.
- Act as a key member of the team, supporting effective internal and external communication and stakeholder management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the software supported by the team.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for a range of software applications.
- Monitor the status of applications and resolve any issues promptly.
- Proactively identify and resolve trends in customer issues, creating solutions to improve the user experience.
- Manage application configuration and upgrades, and work with external suppliers to resolve complex application issues.
- Define, develop, and deliver problem analysis and resolution for complex application challenges in collaboration with users and application suppliers.
- Assist in managing application projects, providing technical and project management input.
- Suggest improvements to application functionality and performance.
- Analyze user processes, create data and process flow diagrams, and generate reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Quickly grasp technical concepts and new product functionality.
- Effectively plan, organize, and manage workloads, adhering to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective systems and processes to enhance administrative support.

- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).

Experience and Knowledge

- Knowledge of project management methodologies and/or health information/corporate systems development.
- Experience with digital applications.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.

- Familiarity with TPP SystmOne.
