About the Role
Sanaa House provides care for children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. We are seeking passionate and committed Residential Care Workers and Enhanced Residential Care Workers to join our team.
Salary and Hours:
Residential Care Worker:
- £28,789.44 to £30,865.44 (including 7 sleep-ins per month).
- Average of 173 hours per month.
Enhanced Residential Care Worker:
- £41,142.24 to £43,766.64 (including 10 sleep-ins per month).
- Average of 243 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal, social, and educational support for children and young people.
- Encourage participation in daily living activities and educational opportunities.
- Foster independence and support personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Promote dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Support anti-discrimination and promote equality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to completing Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 18 months.
- Must be over 21 years old.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, holidays, and overnight stays.

Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts (day and night)
- Overtime available

- Residential childcare experience (1 year)
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
- Fluent English
- Driving licence (preferred)
