About the Role

Join our dedicated team at Ceiriosen Bren, a small, nurturing service supporting four adults with Learning Disabilities in a “home from home” environment. As a Support Worker, you will play an essential role in improving the lives of the people we support and their families by providing person-centred care and promoting independence and dignity.

You don’t need prior qualifications or care experience—what’s truly important is your compassion, dedication, and desire to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

Care and Support

  • Deliver high-quality emotional and practical care for vulnerable adults within a residential setting.
  • Follow person-centred care plans to ensure tailored support for each individual.
  • Assist with everyday tasks, including:
    • Personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing).
    • Meal preparation.
    • Medication administration.
    • Shopping and household tasks.

Promoting Well-Being

  • Facilitate engaging, person-centred activities that promote dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
  • Build meaningful relationships with the people you support, listening to their needs and empowering them to make their own choices.

Teamwork and Independence

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care.
  • Take responsibility when working independently to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of those in your care.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Adhere to guidelines set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
  • Maintain a high standard of care in line with regulatory requirements.

Shift Patterns and Contracted Hours

  • Flexible contracted hours: 22.5 to 45 hours per week.
  • Work includes weekends, night shifts, and varied schedules as required by the rota.

  • No prior care experience is necessary—full training and support will be provided.
  • After successfully completing your probationary period, you can undertake a QCF Level 2 qualification, fully funded and supported by us.
