Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • MEng in Civil Engineering, or
  • BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering complemented by an MSc in a related field.
  • All qualifications must be accredited by the Engineering Council for Chartered Engineer (CEng) eligibility.

About the Role

The Graduate Civil Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to work on nationally recognized infrastructure projects through the Transport Scotland Graduate Scheme. The program is designed to support candidates on their journey to achieving Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, providing mentorship, structured development, and diverse placements within government directorates and external secondments to design consultancies and construction sites.
