As a Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for people who require assistance with daily living tasks.
Core Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will be responsible for a range of duties that directly impact the daily lives of clients, including:
- Personal Care: You will assist with essential personal hygiene tasks such as showering, bathing, and toileting, ensuring that clients maintain their dignity and comfort.
- Mobility Support: You will help clients with mobility challenges, including transferring them using appropriate equipment, ensuring their safety and promoting their independence as much as possible.
- Meal Preparation: You will take part in preparing daily meals, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Additionally, you will assist clients with feeding and hydration as needed, ensuring they receive proper care.
- Medication Management: You will be responsible for administering medication in line with company policies, helping to ensure that clients’ health needs are met safely.
- Domestic Care: You will handle everyday domestic tasks such as housework, laundry, ironing, and shopping, helping to maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes the well-being of the client.
- Social Care: You will assist clients in staying connected with their social networks and encourage participation in activities, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Promoting Independence: You will work to support the independence of clients, fostering self-reliance in daily activities and ensuring they feel empowered.
- Health Reporting: You will be attentive to any changes in clients’ health or well-being and report concerns to the appropriate personnel, ensuring prompt action is taken to address any issues.

Preferred Experience

- UK Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is required to meet the mobility needs of the position, including travel between client homes.
Location Preference
- Medway: While we welcome candidates from various locations, preference will be given to those based in or near Medway, as this will help ensure a smooth and efficient service to our clients.
