Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Administering medications and maintaining accurate records when required.
- Supporting and mentoring junior care staff to ensure excellent care is delivered.
- Developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
- Conducting regular assessments and reviews to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a residential or nursing home setting.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for providing personalized, high-quality care.
