Job Summary

As an Associate Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be responsible for 2nd line troubleshooting, ticket management, and supporting Employee Enablement (EE) services. You will collaborate with project teams to introduce new functionalities and work closely with service owners and SMEs to resolve issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Incident Resolution & Support:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose incidents, ensuring resolutions are effective.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to service owners and SMEs.
  • Coach Service Desk associates to improve first-line resolution rates.
  • Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Identify trends in reported issues and raise concerns with service owners.
  • Document resolutions in knowledge base articles for both staff and digital use.
  • Provide guidance and support to new team members.
  • Technical Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor EE service health and generate reports.
  • Assist with technical support activities and system maintenance.
  • User Engagement & Collaboration:
  • Build strong relationships with staff consuming EE services.
  • Gather and share feedback to improve service delivery.

Selection Process

Stage 1 – Application Sift

Applicants will be assessed based on:

  • Technical/Experience
  • Communicating & Influencing
  • Changing & Improving / Making Effective Decisions
  • Managing a Quality Service / Delivering at Pace

Stage 2 – Assessment Centre

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an Assessment Centre in Edinburgh (Week of 10th March 2025).
  • The assessment includes a behavioural interview and an additional evaluation exercise.

Feedback will be provided only to candidates who attend the interview/assessment.
