Job Summary

The Syed Group Ltd is seeking an Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and ensure a structured and efficient workplace. Reporting to senior management, the role requires strong administrative, communication, and supervisory skills to effectively lead the office team.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in office management and administration, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks and human resources practices. The role also involves handling client interactions with professionalism and maintaining key organizational records.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of correspondence, accounts, sales, statistics, and vacancy records.
  • Oversee work schedules, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to reviewing, issuing, amending, and endorsing insurance policies.
  • Plan, organize, and manage office operations and assets.
  • Lead and supervise office staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, payroll, and financial reporting using QuickBooks.
  • Implement human resources practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Maintain professional phone etiquette and ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in office management or administration.
  • Strong clerical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for budget management and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices.
