Role Summary

Trinity Independent Care Ltd is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to support customers in maintaining their independence within their own homes. The role involves providing personal, social, and enabling care while ensuring confidentiality and dignity for each customer.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care in line with the customer’s support plan.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication monitoring.
• Support social activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and bill payments.
• Provide emotional support, encouraging independence and empowerment.
• Escort or accompany service users to appointments and outings.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes in a customer’s condition.
• Work collaboratively with family members, friends, and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold CQC Fundamental Standards, company policies, and legislative requirements.
• Promote dignity, privacy, and anti-discriminatory practices.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and Data Protection laws.
• Participate in training, performance appraisals, and staff development.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions and demonstrate Trinity Independent Care values.

Additional Responsibilities

• Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure safe practices in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Data Protection – Maintain confidentiality and handle data lawfully under the Data Protection Act.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• English language proficiency.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.

Desirable:

• GCSE or equivalent education.
• 1 year of experience in home care.
