Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with transfers, movement, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Meal Support: Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Medication Assistance: Administer prescribed medications and provide reminders or prompts.
• Health Monitoring: Take vital signs, observe clients’ health conditions, and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Household Tasks: Assist with light cleaning, laundry, and shopping to support clients’ daily living needs.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, ensuring clients feel valued and cared for.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records, including observations and any changes in clients’ conditions.
• Safety and Environment: Identify and address potential hazards to ensure a safe home environment for clients.
• Client Dignity and Independence: Promote clients’ autonomy, privacy, and personal preferences in all aspects of care.
• Collaboration: Work closely with family members, healthcare professionals, and other caregivers to coordinate effective care plans.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, confidentiality guidelines, and company policies.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of home care experience (required).
• Language: Must be proficient in English (required).
• Driving: Applicants must have a car and a valid UK driving licence.
