About the Role
This is no ordinary data role. This is about shaping how data tells its story. Working within a supportive work environment, the Associate Data Modeller plays a key role in designing and maintaining trusted data structures. These models underpin everything from clinical reports to performance dashboards, helping service managers see what’s working and fix what’s not. From SQL wizardry to hands-on ETL automation, every line of code feeds into smarter, faster decision-making across the Trust. If you love problem-solving, finding patterns in chaos, and turning messy data into beautiful clarity, you’ll thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build data models that align with clinical and corporate reporting needs
- Develop ETL routines to pull structured and unstructured data from diverse sources
- Help build robust reporting dashboards used by clinical leaders and managers
- Document technical specs like source-to-target mappings for reuse and scaling
- Maintain reference data using master data management practices
- Support roll-out and training of new BI visualisations and tech tools
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, so you’ll need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
