Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or Mental Health Certificate Level 3, or willingness to start training as soon as possible
  • Experience working directly with carers
  • Confident carrying out assessments
  • Strong knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Triangle of Care
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Good grasp of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to plan your own workload and work independently
  • Basic numeracy and ability to research support options

Salary Details

Annual salary ranges between £27,857 and £30,570, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out carer assessments, reviews, and wellbeing plans
  • Provide recovery-focused information and guidance
  • Support carers in building coping strategies and achieving personal wellbeing goals
  • Help carers understand care plans, advanced directives, and their legal rights
  • Accompany carers to important appointments and assist with practical needs
  • Facilitate connections to local community groups and social opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and work closely with clinical teams
