Requirements

• Recognised SLT degree and HCPC registration
• Postgrad dysphagia qualification or willingness to gain it (Band 5 supported)
• Strong communication and a knack for teamwork
• Experience with adult patients, ideally with acquired neuro conditions
• Evidence of CPD and a solid handle on Microsoft Office
• Time management skills and the ability to stay calm in complex situations
• Driving licence and car for community visits

Salary Details

Pay range is £34,521 – £50,697 depending on experience and qualifications, with full NHS benefits.

You’ll support adults with acquired conditions, working with rehab teams, stroke specialists, neuro therapists, and dietitians. Your work won’t sit in silos – it’s all about joined-up thinking and care delivered where it’s needed most.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic SLT care to adults with acquired needs
• Work alongside multidisciplinary community teams
• Assess and manage dysphagia and communication difficulties
• Deliver training to carers and assistants
• Support clinical audits and service improvement projects
• Supervise students and therapy assistants
• Contribute to integrated care across boroughs
