Requirements

  • Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC or Science Council
  • Level 3 Diploma in Aseptic Pharmaceuticals processing (if not GPhC-registered)
  • Maths and English GCSEs (A–C)* or IELTS 7 (if applying from overseas)
  • Experience with dispensing in hospital or community settings
  • Comfortable with IT systems including pharmacy software and Microsoft tools
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in technical tasks
  • Able to work under pressure while staying organised
  • Supervision experience with staff or trainees is a plus
  • Desirable: ACPT, PIPC, TAQA, CIPS L4 or similar pharmacy qualifications

Salary Details

This role is offered at Band 5 level on the NHS Agenda for Change pay scale. Band 4 technicians ready to develop are also encouraged to apply.
