Requirements

  • Degree in Cyber Security or equivalent work experience
  • Industry-recognised certifications like CISMP or CompTIA
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IPS, and Vulnerability Management tools
  • Solid understanding of frameworks like ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials+, and NIS Regulations
  • Developed training packages or awareness programs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to guide technical/non-technical audiences
  • Evidence of hands-on work or personal projects in cyber security
  • ITIL Foundation certified

Salary Details

This is a full-time NHS role offering between £37,898 and £45,637 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The Cyber Security Specialist will be central to protecting NHS systems from rising digital threats.
