As an Entry-Level Engineering Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of innovative technologies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic assistance for the development, documentation, and implementation of Product Standards and Product Standards as digital data.
  • Collaborate with Boeing Engineering community, representatives from other Boeing functions, and external standards community.
  • Assist in the application of engineering tools and processes for delivering Product Standards and Product Standards data.
  • Support the integration of Product Standards data in engineering designs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standards at an enterprise level throughout the product life cycle.
  • Ensure control and process oversight for the utilization of Government & Industry Standards in support of Boeing programs.
  • Aid in the development, maintenance, and distribution of engineering documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Collect engineering performance metrics and coordinate organizational requirements to support business needs under close supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Configuration Management tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with Extensible Markup Language (XML) coding.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Education/Experience:

  • Advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., 4 years’ related work experience).

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid position with the flexibility for some onsite work.
  • U.S. Security Clearance required.
