Requirements

• Strong experience creating automated and manual test frameworks
• Familiar with tools like Selenium WebDriver, GitHub, or GitLab
• Knowledge of Agile environments and collaboration within scrum teams
• Degree‑level knowledge or equivalent experience
• Experience with CI/CD, BDD, or TDD methodologies
• Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to any audience
• Comfortable managing tasks and timelines independently
• Proactive in continuous learning and self‑improvement
• Understanding of SQL, APIs, cross browser, and accessibility testing

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable automation test frameworks that power NHS services
• Execute manual and automated tests for new and existing systems
• Lead test planning based on user stories and functional needs
• Assure third‑party testing for large, critical digital projects
• Offer guidance on quality assurance to teams and external partners
• Host defect triage sessions that resolve blockers and maintain release schedules
• Contribute to communities of practice and keep your skills sharp
• Stay ahead by scanning new tools and testing trends
